Position Summary

Belmont Abbey College, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Conference Carolinas, invites applications for the current position of Director of Broadcasting and Athletic Communications.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of the Athletic Communications department, this position will report to the Vice President and Director of Athletics.

As a Director of Broadcasting and Coordinator of Athletic Communications, this position’s primary roles will be to serve as the On-Air talent for the Belmont Abbey Sports Network (BASN) and manage the network to ensure there are quality broadcasts at home athletic events. Secondly, this individual should have proficient writing skills and will serve as a sports information director for specified programs. The ideal candidate will also possess the abilities for stating athletic events, game tracking, and video editing.”


The minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree, and preferred experience with Athletics Broadcasting.
