Visit Student Life

Visit Abbey Athletics

As part of our tradition of Excellence and Virtue, our coaches, athletes, and the entire student body are asked to see sports as vehicles of virtue; this is what makes our Athletic Department so unique. The lessons learned on the field or on the court, apply to the development of the body, the mind, and the spirit.  In this way, our student athletes win in their sport and in their lives.

When you visit our college, you will be invited to place your hands on the bricks that formed the buildings on campus--bricks that the first monks and the first students made from Carolina clay over 100 years ago. Like those founding students, we ask current students to build their own bricks during their four years here—to be leaders on campus, to start a club that no one else has thought of, to engage in the range of activities that make life fun and meaningful.

You can go to college anywhere.  But why, when you can attend Belmont Abbey College and continue to mold it for future generations.  If you come here, we will ask you to leave your mark, to be engaged, and to build the bricks that will shape student life for the next 50 years.  This is what it means to be a Belmont Abbey College Crusader.
