Community Service Program-Opportinities
Belmont Abbey College requires students to complete 10 hours of community service each semester. The purpose of this requirement is to encourage students to step beyond their own boundaries and step into the community. It is a chance for students to gain experiences that they would otherwise not have and to foster relationships within the greater community of Belmont and Gaston County . Community service not only provides a service to multiple organizations throughout the area but it also provides students with invaluable opportunities to grow as engaged members of their communities.
