Welcome to Student Activities at the Abbey!
The Office of Student Activities provides extra-curricular activities to all Belmont Abbey students. The activities program is designed to complement the academic program of studies and enhance the overall educational experience of students through the development of, exposure to, and participation in social, cultural, intellectual, recreational, and governance programs while staying true to our Benedictine and Catholic identities. We have a lot of fun in the process! College is about so much more than just going to class, eating and sleeping. What you do in between all the required stuff can mean the difference between a GREAT college experience and an average one. That's what the Office of Student Activities is all about!
The Director of Student Activities is available to help students and any of the student organizations with a wide variety of issues, from program planning and publicity to entertainment contracting. The areas of Campus Activities Board (CAB), Greek Life, Intramurals, Clubs and Organizations and Student Leadership Development are all covered under Student Activities.
Finding out about activities on campus is easy! Some other keys to staying in tune to what's happening on campus is to watch campus bulletin boards for flyers, contact officers or moderators for the clubs or activities that interests you, read the student newspaper (The Crusader), or just simply visit our office! The resources are vast - you only have to tap into them. Check it out...
