March for Life 2009
With Belmont Abbey College
Belmont Abbey College will be participating in the March for Life in Washington D.C. The purpose of the March is to raise awareness for the unborn, and to make a stand for the protection and dignity of human life. This is an incredible opportunity for you to join thousands of people from across the country in standing up for women and their children.
This trip is open to anyone who is college age (18-24)
Cost: Due to the generosity of donors the only cost for you is $35 plus money for two meals!
Tentative Schedule:
- Wednesday, January 21st the busses will depart early in the morning of from Belmont Abbey College
- After arriving at the hotel pizza will be served in the lobby
- The entire group will then travel to the Vigil for Life in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (regardless of your religious affiliation this is a great chance to be unified with thousands in prayer).
- Thursday, January 22nd the group will join others from the Charlotte and Raleigh areas for mass and the proceed to the March for Life
- Directly following the March for Life, the group will depart directly and return to the college at approximately midnight.
