BELMONT, NC --- Belmont Abbey College President Dr. William K. Thierfelder will be sharing the joy of the season with over 200 guests at the Abbey’s annual Holiday Reception on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 6:00 PM at the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The special by-invitation-only event will include a performance by pianist Anna Brock from the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and will feature two current exhibitions at the Mint Museum, Renaissance to Rococo and the Ancient Egyptian Art for the Afterlife.
A number of friends of the Abbey and members of the greater Charlotte business community are on the guest list, including Bishop Peter Jugis of the Charlotte Diocese, Humpy Wheeler, President of Lowe’s Motor Speedway, the Mayor of Gastonia, Jennifer Stultz, Kevin Kennelly, Regional President for Regions Bank and Lauren Steele, Vice President at Coca-Cola Bottling Company, among others.
