The book will be the basis for Haack’s talk at The Bradley Institute for the Study of Christian Culture and Belmont Abbey College. ABOUT THE BOOK, Bush-Pilot in Diamond Country:

In 1952, Don Haack left the normality of a Wisconsin suburb with his new bride, and headed for the uncharted jungles of British Guiana. His quest for diamonds became a fascinating journey that would span fourteen years. In this true and compelling autobiography, written by one of the few surviving bush-pilots that flew this territory, Haack brings to life a story of a primitive land, of diamonds and secrets, of treacherous rivers and airplane crashes, and fortunes made and lost. “Bush-Pilot in Diamond Country” is available directly from the author at Donald Haack Diamonds & Fine Gems 704.365.4400, as well as from Park Road Books, Borders, Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

Donald Haack Diamonds and Fine Gems Ltd specializes in buying, brokering, selling, appraising, evaluating and setting diamonds, precious gems and pearls. Their specially trained and educated team delivers highly personal service, ensuring the buying experience is unforgettably positive.
