Belmont Abbey College vs. EEOC
Since 2008, the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has been investigating whether the College's refusal, based on its Catholic religious beliefs, to cover contraception, sterilization, and abortion in its employees' health care plan constitutes gender discrimination under federal law. The College has retained the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty to represent it in this matter. For more information about the case please CLICK HERE.
