New ADP Student Orientation
Orientation for new adult students is planned and coordinated by the Associate Director of the Adult Degree Program. It is scheduled prior to the start of each full semester (fall and spring). New Student Orientation is designed to help new adult students become better acquainted with the College, its policies and procedures, and with each other. All new adult students are required to attend orientation.

The Office of Academic Assistance and the Academic Resource Center (ARC) located in the lower-level of the Abbot Vincent Taylor Library, provide a range of services to facilitate students’ academic success and pursuit of excellence at Belmont Abbey College. The Academic Resource Center offers space for tutoring, as well as spaces for individual and informal group studying, and a computer work station.

Mission Statement of the Office of Academic Assistance The mission of the Office of Academic Assistance (OAA) is to provide academic resources and opportunities for the development of skills necessary for academic success.   In accordance with its mission, the OAA offers individualized academic coaching for skill development, tutoring services, services for students with disabilities, and workshops.  In keeping with Catholic and Benedictine values, the OAA contributes to Belmont Abbey ’s larger mission of developing balanced persons who strive to realize the full potential of their unique gifts.

The OAA staff invites all members of the BAC community to take advantage of its resources.

The Office of Career Services endeavors to provide complete career development services in a welcoming, educational environment. We believe that the path to success is through the awareness of your personality, interests, skills, faith, and values and developing a career development plan that meets your individual needs. We strive to assist our students and alumni in reaching personal excellence and virtue.

The Abbot Vincent Taylor Library is available for all Adult Degree Program students. ADP students have borrowing privileges and full privileges to the Library. Belmont Abbey College picture ID cards are required to check out library materials.
