Transfer Students Deadlines
Belmont Abbey College is on rolling admission, which means we accept applications until the first week in August. There are still several deadlines of which you should be aware:

Application Process
- To apply for admission, transfer students can take advantage of our free online application.
- Have a copy of your official transcripts from all colleges attended forwarded to the Office of Admission Only transcripts received in an envelope sealed by the issuing college are considered official.
- If you have fewer than 24 transferable credit hours, you must also submit official, final high school transcript and your SAT and/or ACT score. SAT and/or ACT score report labels appearing on official high school transcripts are acceptable.

- After January 1, the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) becomes available and can be filled out. Our FAFSA number is: 002910

Acceptance Process
You will be notified of your acceptance decision within one week of our receipt of your complete application materials including application and official test score(s) and transcript(s). Accepted students are encouraged to join us for our Accepted Student Day in March or schedule a campus visit to learn more about the Abbey. |

Deposit
Even after you have been accepted, your space at Belmont Abbey College is not reserved until we receive your deposit. There are several ways to make your deposit:

Deposited Student Time line
Our goal is to make your transition to Belmont Abbey College as smooth as possible. For that reason, we thought it might be helpful to assemble a list of what to expect from us as you prepare for the fall. If you have any questions please feel free to call the Admissions office at 888.222.0110.
- Registration Packet: This will be mailed to deposited students beginning May 1. The packet contains class registration materials, information on advising, first-year orientation and other useful information. For more information, please call the Registrars Office. (704.461.6733)
- Resident Life (housing) Packet: This packet, mailed to deposited resident students beginning April 1, contains information on the Residence Life program at Belmont Abbey College housing options, a housing preference form and a room and board contract. - Student Accounts Packet: Information on payment plans, meal plan options, and other financial information will be mailed to deposited students beginning in mid-June. For more information, please call the Business Office - Student Accounts. (704.461.6716)
- Orientation Packet: A packet containing information on our exciting new student orientation program will be mailed to all deposited students beginning in early-June. For more information, please call the Director of Student Activities. (704.461.6780)
- Resident Hall Room Assignments: Room assignments will be mailed to resident students who have completed and returned appropriate housing forms in July. For more information, please call the Director of Residence Life. (704.461.7371)
- Health Forms: A student medical form will be mailed out to deposited students beginning in March. Information on the on-campus Health and Wellness Center will also be included. It is important that the medical form is returned to us by July 1. For more information, please call Health Services. (704.461.6877)
- Financial Aid: Financial aid awards are mailed out to those accepted students who have completed the FAFSA application beginning in February. For more information, please call Financial Aid. (704.461.6718)
