Business Management - MotorSports Management
Motorsports Management students will officially declare as a Business major with
a concentration in Motorsports Management as a freshman. Formal acceptance
into the Business major and Motorsports concentration will be based upon
their academic performance during the freshman year. In order to be officially
accepted into these programs, a student must maintain at least a 2.0
grade point average and successfully complete the courses - including
two Accounting, two Economics, a Spreadsheet and Database course.
Until these courses are successfully completed (which generally takes place in the sophomore or junior year), their status will be "declared". Advisors will work with all declared students in an advising role to ensure that their academic plan will enable them to meet these requirements as well as other course requirements in a timely manner.
It is important to note that as long as a student maintains an appropriate grade point average and takes the courses as outlined in their academic plan, they should have an excellent opportunity to be part of the Motorsports Management program.
