Internships

To offer hands-on experience as part of the transition to work, a full semester internship program is available to seniors. Selected competitively, the student works full time in a business corporation, or government agency, as appropriate, and may also be fully salaried. For this experience the student receives twelve credits in electives (on a pass fail basis) and three major credits for a concurrent, on campus, senior seminar. The student registers in the usual manner for the semester, and pays normal tuition and fees to the College.

An internship experience on a part time basis is also available to qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors in various disciplines. This learning experience merits one to six credits in electives (on a pass/fail basis) per semester; a cumulative maximum of twelve credits is possible under this category.
